Having earned my Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Southern California’s School of International Relations, and being currently enrolled in Grad School for my Masters in International Relations, I am seeking to leverage my understanding and my gained skills in a position within the professional world of International Affairs. For this reason, I decided to create an online résumé to summarize a listing of my all my relevant job experiences and education. I believe that through my education and the skills I have acquired from my previous professional experiences, I can grow to be an exceptional worker in any position involving International Affairs. I feel that my abilities can be a good match for nearly any position within the International Affairs industry because I am familiar with the demanding effort that takes to execute the quality work that is often expected. So to all my potential employers that encounter this, I thank you for taking the time to read the importance that I have provided on to this space.
Over the past, I have held various positions related to bridging, servicing, and analyzing the foreign policies in particular states, and I have grown accustomed to interacting with non-English speaking individuals in pursuit of business endeavors. I have developed a diverse range of abilities from my experiences with International Relations in the professional world. I can only hope to fully develop them more as I am given more opportunities. In the past, I was an information adjucator for the Immigration and Naturalization Services, a research assistant for a project that involved proposing a policy in regards to the furthering of investigations of the murder of women along the United States border, and a personal foreign language translator for Liu Wulong. For the Immigration and Naturalization Services, my ability to quickly pick up new methods served as an asset for me, as I was able to quickly learn how to process applications on behalf of District Adjucators in a fast paced office setting. As a research assistant for a private project that aimed to ultimately propose a policy, my communication skills developed and were displayed, as I was able to speak Spanish fluently when working with others. In addition, with this job I was also able to meet deadlines and carry out tasks that required a great deal of research. Being a personal foreign language translator for Liu Wulong, I was not only able to develop my proficiency with Cantonese language; I was also able to use my linguistic ability as a professional service. For Mr. Wulong, I was able to provide a translation service regarding various business contracts, and during various consultation sessions. From these positions, I gained various useful assets in my pursuit of a career in the International Relations field: multi-linguistic abilities— Cantonese and Spanish, strong writing and research skills that are fitting to formal documentation and in regards of policies, being able to meet deadlines, and an ability to deal with various individuals. Along with these skills, I am also proficient in conducting research-based projects as I have taken part in various mock policy proposals during the course of my Undergraduate years. In addition, as I am in the process of earning my Masters in International Relations, I am currently aiding a number of organizations that are aiming to reform various policies regarding the ongoing genocide of women in Mexico. In addition, as a pastime and a service to people, I also write and self-publish my collection of literary children’s fiction. In staying active in my life in and out of my career, I am always able to produce works that reflect my skills and my desire to improve foreign policies.
Ideally, having a job in the International Relations field would be fitting for me; I look forward to the many challenges that require me to do what I am good at— analyzing, educating, and working with others in improving foreign policies that require attention. Given the opportunity, I am confident that my diverse experiences and distinct talents would be an asset for any company involved in International Affairs. For any potential employer’s convenience, you will find my resume and a bio of me for your review. Realizing the communication limitations of the online world, I would welcome the opportunity to take part in any form of a personal interview to answer any questions. Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope you enjoy the site.
